The guide below will walk you through setting up email on an Samsung Galaxy Phone/Tablet. Some settings may be different depending on which version you have. You will need the following prerequisites before you begin.

Setting up Email on an Samsung Galaxy Phone/Tablet
- From the Home screen tap Apps
- Tap Email
- Tap More (If prompted to enter email and password skip to Step 6)
- Tap Settings
- Tap Add account
- Fill in the fields and tap Manual Setup
- Enter your email
- Enter your email password
- Tap POP3 or IMAP (from prerequisites)
- Fill in the following fields then tap Next
- Enter your email address
- Enter your email address again for the User name
- Enter your email password
- POP3 or IMAP server (domain name from prerequisites)
- Change Security type to SSL
- Port needs to be set to 993 (for IMAP) or 995 (for POP3) (from prerequisites)
- Fill in the following fields then tap Next
- Enter SMTP server (hostname from prerequisites)
- Change Security type to SSL
- Port needs to be set to 465
- Require sign-in needs to be checked
- Enter your full email address under User name
- Enter your email password
- Depending on if you selected POP or IMAP you may have additional option screens. These settings are a personal preference. If you are not sure about these options, leave them default.
